Adolph Katchko  Biography

Adolph Katchko (1886-1958) was born in Varta, Kaliscz, Russia and died in New York City. Cantor, composer, and teacher.

He served as cantor at Ansche Chesed in New York. A noted teacher, he also arranged many musical works; his archives are in the library of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.

His 3-volume Thesaurus of Cantorial Liturgy (1952) is an important collection of cantorial chanting.

In addition, subscriptions such as Mishpacha, Binah, The Circle, Spotlight, JWOW have all joined our project as well BH. All the material will be uploaded to locked iPads and is streamed thru the Saiph Stars App designated to be used by these children.
