Silva Quartet to perform in Ashkenazi Synagogue

Silva Quartet will be performing a concert in the special ambiance of the Ashkenazi Synagogue on Monday March 11th, as a part of the VIII. Istanbul International Opus Amadeus Chamber Music Festival which gave start on February 16th. The concert will be the closing concert of the festival this year.
Silva Quartet, consisting of Duygu Kozak Şahiner on the flute, Beste Özensoy on the oboe, Merve Nuvasil on the clarinet and Hande Everes on the bassoon, was founded in 2010. Besides the classical repertoire they are performing of the well-known musicians, the quartet is also blending classical music with Turkish music, jazz, tango, movie soundtracks and pop music thus creating their own unique sound.
