Adolph Katchko (1886-1958) was born in Varta, Kaliscz, Russia and died in New York City. Cantor, composer, and teacher.
He served as cantor at Ansche Chesed in New York. A noted teacher, he also arranged many musical works; his archives are in the library of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
His 3-volume Thesaurus of Cantorial Liturgy (1952) is an important collection of cantorial chanting.

Are there any movies or photos of max kletter? His wife’s sister was my stepmother, so I’m interested in seeing them and sharing them with his wife’s daughter.
The article says Sheb recorded his last song just 4 days before he died, but does not tell us the name of it. I be curious what it was. I’d like to hear it.
