The Flagstaff Klezman Orkestra was founded in late 2021 after music students wanted to bring the sound of klezmer to Flagstaff. FKO combines the styles of classical, jazz, Romani, and truba music, with a heavy dose mix of Middle Eastern-inspired melodies and upbeat traditional Jewish songs. FKO’s music ensemble values creating an energetic soundscape of high-energy dancing mixed with a unique twist that sets us apart from any music ensemble in Flagstaff.
