Adult Choir

The Adult Choir is a Kehilah Shirah—a true “Singing Community” where we get together every Thursday to sing together, pray together, support one another through music, and to contribute to the musical fabric of Beth Emet. We sing a mix of current songs by many of the hottest Jewish composers such as Noah Aaronson, but we also hearken back to the classics such as Lewandowski. We strive to make all Jewish music accessible to all people by encouraging the congregation to sing along with us and to share our knowledge of music with them by presenting guest artists and Sermons in Song. We are committed to social justice and often sing in benefit concerts to help social causes such as the Syrian Refugees. The Adult Choir is open to everyone, no matter what your singing level or experience is.  We begin our season of singing with the High Holidays and then continue through June, ending our year with Kol Emet Shabbat.
