The Jewish boys choir of Baku the “Bnei Levi” directed by Rabbi Meir Bruk, recently produced a new music video of their songs, one of the hits which thank the people of Azerbaijan for its tolerance was shown on all channels of Azerbaijan television.

The video “Azerbaijan” was shown dozens of times on different television channels of this Moslem country. Two years ago, Rabbi Bruk organized the “Bnei Levi” ensemble in the Chabad Ohr Avner School of Baku. Bruk himself writes the songs in Azerbaijani and Hebrew and sets them to the ethnic Jewish and Azerbaijan melodies. Together with the choir it is broadcast throughout the entire country — both before the Jews and before the Moslem’s.

In this new song, which has already become a hit, has attracted many Jews to the community many Jews, who previously never considered their heritage, glorifies Azerbaijan, its people, which have always been friendly and cordial neighbors to the Jewish community.
