Music is the universal language and the ideal way to connect to our elders. Penny Goldstein D'Agostino is a true mensch, bringing joy to hundreds of residents a year through music. She coordinates a weekly choir at Horizon Bay under the auspices of the Jewish Pavilion, and she performs on behalf of the Jewish Pavilion more than once a month. At Hanukkah time, Penny entertains at over twenty  facilities all over town. She knows how to entertain large crowds, singing popular music from the twenties and thirties. Penny  uses  karaoke machine so that everyone can see the words and sing along. She includes in each concert beautiful Jewish music like "My Yiddisha Mama" and "Bir Mist du Schoen." Those two songs always bring joy and tears amongst the Jewish residents in her audience.  We are so lucky to have Penny as past of our Jewish communtiy and for the joy she brings to so many people.
