Shimon Osovitsky was an actor, singer and composer. He was born on April 1, 1906 in Bialystok (the Kingdom of Poland of the Russian Empire, now Poland).
He started his artistic career in Poland. During the Second World War he was on the territory of the USSR. In 1946 he returned to Poland.
In 1950 he immigrated to Israel, where he was an actor of various theaters. Recorded at record companies “Hed Arzi”, “Israfon” and “Galton”.
Shimon Osovitsky died on July 15, 1999 and was buried in the cemetery of Bat Yam / Holon, Israel.
